Our Coturnix quail hatching eggs are fresh, unwashed, and unrefrigerated to retain optimal hatching potential. They will be no more than 2 days old maximum. Eggs are candled to check for cracks and proper air cells.
Hatch within 17-21 days, typically on day 18. Typical hatch rates are between 65-75%
Coturnix quail are prolific egg layers, with each female quail producing 300+ protein-rich eggs each year!
Eating quail eggs has revealed that quail eggs are healthier than other eggs consumed by humans. Unlike chicken eggs, quail eggs can be consumed by senior citizens. This is because, quail eggs are rich in choline (a chemical essential for brain function) and they have low cholesterol value.
